LS1 Front Brake Pad/Rotor Selection

Looking for advice on what combo to get for LS1 front brakes.

I just need it to slow down the car at drag strip and normal daily driving.

Don't get EBC, I've had yellow and greet- hated them both

I've had powerstops that worked well, but they screeched like a banshee when braking in reverse

Just make sure the discs are blanks, don't fall for the drilled and slotted shenanigans

And i'll probably be going back to OEM

Yea IIRC BLS ended up with OEM options from Napa?

I had planned on blank rotors and maybe ceramic pads from the advance auto

Blank good rotors and ceramic pad (NAPA or Power Stop Z26). My car is much heavier than yours so I put some nice pad material on my prior setup. It did stop the car so....

Ok, so my plan of OE blank rotors and some ceramic pads is a good one.

Thanks

Never had a problem with powerstop rotors. RPMspeed.com has a knock off brand of rotors for cheap that also worked well. Hawks pads by far beat out anything else Ive used and held up really well to quarter mile pass slow downs.
