I know a guy that went the other way, cut a hole in his hood, and became internet famous.

Yours looks like you actually got all the right parts haha. I made my brackets, cut my stock LT1 foam into shape and made my own front bumper support... totally forgot to ask for them cause I was excited to get the head lights and bumper for $500.

I switched mine cause I had wrecked the car and the front end had the clear coating blistering away. Stock LS1 brackets wouldn't work for me anyway, my core support sits about 1/2" lower on the passenger's side now. It's all in front of the front suspension though so it doesn't affect alignment.

Here was my topic:
http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=56592

If you want to see real hammer talent you should see the truck I have been working on for the past 3 years Core support sat about 1" further back on one side... door wouldn't open and the fender and door were peeled outward. I used a grinder, BFH, and 30 pack to fix it. The fenders are held on with huge amounts of pressure; whoever unbolts it will more then likely die.

I was looking for a V6 firebird front bumper, a few junkyards in PA had them a few months back... didn't feel like driving 2.5 hours to get one though. Not one junkyard in NJ or PA had a TA bumper.

I got my bumper for $50 off a wrecked Trans Am that some kid wrapped around a tree.
