My friend has a 94 LT1 that I may buy for 100 dollars! anyway, what would i have to change in my 88 Iroc with the 305TPI to put in the LT1?
I know with the Ls1 you have to change a lot , but ive never seen anythign mentioned about switching lt1 into a third gen

The LT1 block will bolt up the same as a standard small block, so the biggest challenge you will have is all the wiring for the new engine. A search on TGO will prolly get you a complete guide to the swap, as I know that several others have done it.

You'd still have to swap over the engine harness, PCM, adapt the fuel lines, and probably notch the lower part of the crossmember to clear the AC compressor (if you're gonna keep AC). Try searching over at www.thirdgen.org/techbb2 - there's a whole ton of info about the swap there.

A friend of mine from another board has done it and knows all the ins and outs of the entire swap... what you could do is get him on AIM at p8ntbllfrlfe05, tell him Kasey told you to talk to him
