Miracle noone got hurt with those people standing so close. I have seen tires shred quarter panels but DAMN!!!! That just totaled that car. Never saw that. As they say anything can happen.

PV = NRT.

Looks like it took out the rusty wheel well first, then banged up the quarter with the whipping. OUCH.

clearly there was more going on there. be it a **** tire or excessive psi, there is no reason for a normal decent tire to explode with a 20 second burn out. pretty wild though

Did any of you every see a Goodyear Racing Tire blow on a NASCAR track. It kinda takes off the whole fender and part of the hood. Something that has been spinning that fast with so much heat buildup, it only takes a small weak spot in the tire and off it goes.

I believe it. It's pretty violent when it comes apart at such speed. A lot of stupid in the vid. Those people were sitting way too close. Idiots. They do it way safer at Carlisle.

Carlisle puts barricades around the car. This is the best I could come up with right now.

Best 7 second burnout.. Im assuming it reached its speed rating of the tire or was due to the psi of the tire

Argh. Or due to the tire getting shredded down to its cord pacakge and then structurally failing.
