I knew someone that was on hydroxycut. It worked in a roundabout way. You would take the recommended dose and not be able to sit down 'cuz you'd have so much energy.

Paul-

I've used Redline RTD's (4oz bottles) with some success. Gotta use a bottle a day for a month or so. 1/2 in the morning, 1/2 in the afternoon. It's not crazy enough potent to do a lot of damage but it will help burn some extra calories a day. Also, if you are not already eating clean and are active then don't bother. And you should not have caffeine in any other form during use.

At our FOB(forward operating base) the army had civilian contractors work the dining facility.
meals were similar to those youd see at and college or government cafeteria i assume.
However most of the civilian were Indian and therefore a lot of the food had curry in it. even the mac and cheese. wasnt that good, but theyd have burgers fries grilled cheese etc. All types of sodas too.

Add on top of that, the physical exertion doing your job everyday, lack of sleep and missed meals. I had no idea how much i had lost in 8 months. but now being back in the states over 8 months, ive gained it all back.

WBT, yea, ill give good food and exercise a shot alone first.

on a side note, my PT has been severally lacking the past 5 months due to an injury to my shoulder. I am highly limited on what i can physically do.
ALL i can do is biking and walking, thats it. no running, no push ups, no lifting... Im pending reclass or medical discharge, but thats a whole different story.

But sometimes i will admit, id rather be back in the 'stan. its almost easier there. Hard to explain to non-deployed people.

nope, lol, with the arms going back and forth it tears at my shoulder.
Basically the tendon going over my shoulder is frayed and tearing against a part of bone that is also getting into a nerve bundle. which cause loss of feeling and sensation down my whole arm. ring and pinky finger are almost always numb. Also, the nerve pain goes back down along my shoulder blade.
Natural motion of my arm even when walking for a decent period of time causes extreme pain.

There are two sets of handles on the elliptical at my gym. Some people use the swinging ones, but some people use the stationary handlebars like on the bar of the machine that goes up. Or is that not much bettr?

Paul:

IMO, the biggest thing that you can do to speed up weight loss is to buy a heart rate monitor. There's nothing worse than seeing somebody spend days and days in the gym with no results only to find out that they were working too lightly or too hard. An HR monitor is cheap and allows you to make sure you are in the right spot during your workout; like a coach on your arm. To build cardio endurance you want to be at the top of your range, to burn fat stay at the lower end. Works well. Kinda like scanning software for your body.

my exercise bike has a HR monitor built in. What is the ideal range though for fat burn? Ive always noticed that on any heart rate monitor on equipment that my rate seems low under 130, very rarely do i see it over that. When i did run, id do 7min miles and sustain that rate for up to 4 miles straight (4 miles in under 30min).
