Toto Wolff goes 7:03 at the Ring and then......

Wrecks like a master trying to throw down another awesome flying lap

Big impact, he is clearly ok as you can see at the end of the video. Right rear blew out and sent him for a ride.

wowy wow wow. I wonder if they did that so porsche wouldn't show the damage, and also watned to show how safe their car is by having him walk out of it after a crash like that?

I wanna know what was going through his head while it was sliding. He had it sideways with the wheel cocked over watching that wall for long enough to be damn sure he wasn't gonna stop and knowing that he was helpless to do anything about it. That just has to be a sinking feeling, knowing you just did nothing wrong and you are about to take that shot anyway.

Yeah, he really seems pretty nonchalant about it; wrecks the car, then shuts it off, pulls off the steering wheel, and climbs out like nothing happened!!! I definitely would have been cursing up a storm before I got out of the car.

He appears to do what (little) he can to correct and then shifts his focus to the direction of the impending impact. His composure likely is a result of professionalism, experience, and the knowledge that he did what he could in the situation. Besides, he's driving OPC. Not his wallet.

No one does what he does for a living without awareness and acceptance of unpredictability and risk. I'd have been shocked if he reacted differently. Luckily the tire didn't fail as he approached the bridge.
