Time for mods
well i started buying some goodies over the past week for the car and ive had some stuff waiting to get put on. so i figured i may as well throw it all on now. my car was 100% stock suspention. didnt even have a poly bushing for the TQ arm. awaiting to be put on i haveee
Spohn LCA
Spohn LCA relos
Spohn SFC
Spohn Ajustable PHB
3 way ajustable dragshocks
now i have a few questions about installation and what not, mostly with the SFC. it says they have to be installed at "ride hieght" i dont have a ride on life to make my life easier, so if i throw it up on some ramps, will that be sufficiant?
also with the LCAs, im guessing the car has to be under a load to remove and install the LCAs?
and for the shocks, is it really even worth throwing them in with stock springs? and there 3 way ajustable(90/10 70/30 50/50) so what you think i should set em at? i daily the car and dont take corners like a ass.

The LCA and SFC should be installed at the same time, as the rear of teh SFC will add to the front LCA mount.
Just install the SFC loosely, then lower the car to all four wheels down, and on a level surface, tighten up the SFC.
LCA will need the body supported and then use a jack under the rear to support it when you you drop each LCA.
I run my three way shocks at 50/50 with stock springs

SFC are the weld in joints. kinda hard to install loose lol
throw my pig up on ramps and get to weldin?

Ah, well, park it level, and try to maintain it level, issue is, the chassis needs to be loaded, so wheels need to be where the lifting points are.

If you don't have the wheels pre loading the chassis, the SFC may be off.
IDK, I need to stop posting logic in this thread.

He meant you have to lift from the wheels, not from the body. You just want the suspension fully and equally loaded. Can you get 4 equal ramps, jack the car up, then put ramps under each tire? That seems like the way to go. Do you have holes in the sfcs? My weld ins did and utilized the lca bolt while welding in. Make sure you use some primer and paint the welds, they will get nasty quick. Oh and don't be dumb when it comes to your fuel lines, you'll see when you get under there.

Yea ramps are gonna be your best bet, but I would honestly try to weld em up a bit on the ground. I think its doable.

why not just drive the car up onto the ramps? i dnt get the logic behind lifting the car up and then puttin it on ramps lol
and yes, the rears look like they bolt up. i figured put the back on, tack the front, bead around the back, and then bead the front. and finish up.

doesnt seem to hard. worse that can happen is body damage and a ramp shooting threw my nieghbors.

I meant if the car was sitting on the ground, not on ramps, you wouldn't be able to get a clean weld around.
