Need an AXLE BUMP STOP for my 1994 Trans Am

I was just checking my new toy out, pulled the L.S. rear wheel off and saw this. What really floored me was the price ($70.00 apiece from GM). I got a price from NAPA for $48.00 each. Anybody had to replace these and what did they run you? Thanks for any help.

take a angle grinder with a cutoff wheel and trim the lip. spray paint the exposed edge. The price has gone up. I paid 17.95 back in 2013 for those.

4th gen bumpstops are worse then thirdgens. They are more of a foam then rubber. His are actually not as bad as I seen cause its actually still there. Most crumble and fall the f off.

Yes that's the problem. The ones on my 1991 Formula looked brand new and were made out of solid rubber. These are made out of a orange foam. The rubber ones will fit 1982-2002. Thanks for the info!

Yeah, just brought home a 25th Anniversary Trans Am GT. It's a 6-speed manual (only 128 made) 19,000 miles and Mint Condition. I got a set from Eric (732-616-8794) who has 2 garages filled with 3rdGen parts. Give him a call (he's in Jackson, NJ) and mention my name and see what he charges you for them. They will be the Hard RUBBER design and fit perfectly.

Give Eric a call. He is on thirdgen.org and has several sets of the HARD RUBBER design. I bought a set from him (he lives in Jackson, NJ) and they are a perfect fit. His number is 732-616-8794. He has 2 garages filled with 3rd Gen stuff and his prices are really fair.

The Insurance gave me FULL Value for the Formula and the BUY BACK was $4,000, so now it went to the auction block. Sad ending for the Bird that I had for over 24 years, but the amount of work finding parts and then getting a SALVAGE title was too far out. I did buy a MINT 1994 25th Anniversary Trans Am 6-speed/ 18,000 miles.

I'd get those. I like rubber stops over poly. more progressive

I ran mine to far worse of a condition than those and then did the poly Jeep set since nothing rubber was available. I just picked up a set of the UMI ones this week.

I'am quite sure Eric would have sold you a used RUBBER set for a lot less than the POLY replacements. The rubber will have some give, but unless you doing road courses they will work just fine. Plus if it matters, when you clean them up a little, they look brand new.
