Window Tinting - Auto Image in Freehold?

Got quoted $150 for rear and side windows on my 5th Gen.

Anyone have experience with them? Please share. Thanks!

If you have any other places you think are great around Long Branch (or within a half hour or so), please share! I'm new around here and have no clue.

I had mine done at Auto Image in Brick. Nice guys. Did a great job. Still hate that dot matrix crap at the top of our window though. Thats the only part that doesn't look perfect.

i had a really bad experience with auto image on 18 near east brunswick. they did something with my windows but it made the windows pop off the window track on both windows i had tinted.

if its your daily driver i recommend you dont get your front windows done...way more problems than you need...and it really is unsafe for cops..

Thanks for the tips. So it seems like Auto Image in 18 is a no. And people seem pleased with Brick.

And dmheer, I love that IROC. That's the first Camaro I fell in love with back in the day.

A friend of mine had the same issue with his drivers side window. Heard a few others complain simply of the tint job itself.

yah tinting over our dot matrix's are relatively hard.. you can develop air bubbles so easily if not done right... i'm going to try to tint my car next week , we'lll see how I do.

a friend of mine works at garden state window tinting. he was looking at my rear hatch and mentioned that they use some trick with a glue stick or something over the dot matrix so it doesnt get air bubbles.

^^ eh... it's better to just squeegie it out...and not bother w/ the glue... some ppl use glue but it doesn't come out the best and some times looks like a bunch of scratches.

yeah dude BOTH of my windows popped off the tracks multiple times after i brought it there. they worked PERFECT before i brought it there. like ok, i can understand if it happens due to normal wear and tear...but the day after i bring it there? both do it? come on..be real..

they probably had the glass out of the weather stripping and forgot to set it back in. those honda windows are funny like that. had one come in doing it. though it had a bent regulator too.

no, but they pull the weather stripping back. the tolerances for the glass in the track are very tight. weather stripping incorrectly laid will easily cause the glass to bind and pop out of the track.
