can i use a passenger seat on the drivers side ?

my drivers seat is shot can't seem to find one anywhere but found a passenger side seat in good shape. would it be possible to use it on my drivers side ? i figure swapping the seat track shouldnt be to hard. but what about the mechinsm for folding the seat forward ? is it possible to swap that from side to side ?

i think the bottom covers, foam too, should swap no problem. And yes the guides are the issue with swapping the uppers. however, you could remove the cover from the pass side and try installing it on the driver seat foam and frame. You will just be left with 2 holes(small screw holes) on the inside on the seat where the old guide was.

Ive seen it bolted in just as it was from the pass side.. controls are now man. and the seat belt guide was screwed into the headrest... but it worked I suppose...
