I'm an idiot

OKay when I installed my strut tower brace I apparently unbolted my strut bearing (i think thats what its called) and forgot to bolt it back down. So I drive my car and a block from my house I hear "pop, bang, grind". I pop my hood to see this.

Now I can't get it to budge at all the get it back in place to bolt it down. Any ideas?

maybe jack the body up so that the suspension "dangles" and try to push it back down and bolt it up???

I tried jacking up the car...didn't seem to help but it wasn't quite dangling, maybe I'll try to jack it off the ground

jack the car completely off the ground and pry down on the lower a arm, that should pull it down enough, maybe get a friend to help if possible, so you can gets the bolts in right away.

I figured out a way to solve the problem, I jacked up the front suspension by the control arm and it slipped right back into place. I'm gonna take her for a short drive tomorrow and see what my alignment is like.

I will, just wanted to drive her since I hadn't in like a month. I hate taking my car to the shop and letting other people touch her tho...
