FS: 1985 Chevy Camaro Z28 w/ 355 motor (Lyndhurst, New Jersey)- $3,500 - SOLD
Up for sale is a 1985 Camaro Z28. The car is red, has the hood with the two black louvers, and the motor is a 350 bored .30 over to a 355 with a little over a 1,000 miles. The body has about 175,000 miles. The transmission is an automatic 700r4, 1st and 2nd gear work perfectly, but drive and overdrive(3rd and 4th) slip, so the trans is probably going to have to be rebuilt. Besides the transmission, everything else in the car works great. The motor runs and sounds amazing. It was just given a tune-up recently. The intake is an Edelbrock RPM and the carbeaurator is an Edelbrock 700 which was rebuilt in the Fall. The valve covers are also Edelbrock. The motor is very clean. It has SLP headers and the rest of the exhaust is Flowmaster. The car does have heat, but no air conditioning. The interior is MINT!!!! Its all black ,extremely clean and in amazing shape, came out of a firebird. On the inside there is a Pioneer CD player and a chrome American Racing Products Steering Wheel. The car has a Posi-Rear and the wheels are off of a 1991 Z28. The roof is a hard-top. The body is straight and the paint is good except for a few minor scratches here and there. The rear window and the passenger window are tinted. She has a brand new battery, all the gauges work properly. She has some brand new hoses and 2 chrome fuel filters. All of the fluids have been checked weekly and are always topped off and clean. The car was just given an inspection recently and is good till November of 2010. This is a very good car. She is extremely powerful, she has a mild cam, the car has over 400 horse and is capable of 12s. She has a lot of potential. The price is $2,500, which I am negotiable about, so anyone interested come take a look. If interested, I can be contacted through e-mail at StreetStangGT302@aol.com or on my cell at (862) 202-4944.

Thats the horsepower its estimated to have. The motor is a 4 - bolt 350 that came out of an '85 Chevy C10 pick-up. Its rebuilt, bored .30 over to a 355, has a mild cam, Edelbrock Intake N Valve Covers, not sure what heads are in it. The guy I got it from had built it with his father. Motor has brand new SLP headers too. Motor only has 1,000 miles. The car flies. -Jeff.

I'll try and check towards the end of next week. I am working double shifts all weekend at work and finishing up finals for college on Monday and Tuesday, and taking my dad out for his b-day on Wednesday. -Jeff.
