i like it. cutting edge, very musclular looking.
imagine that shape dipped in the impulse blue metallic/ navy blue metallic that GM has been using the last 5 or 6 years and i think it is perfect looking.
looks like i have a reason to keep saving those GM card points after all

they all start heavy
first gens were fairly light, 2nd gens are tanks, 3rd gens are the lightest cars, and 4th gens are complete pigs. i woudln't be surprised to see the 5th gen weigh in similar to 4th gens.
anyone hear and know where to find anything on proposed pricing?
if it is clsoe to what the 4th gen cars were i am sure it will be a huge hit.

from the length and wheel base, i really don't think it'll be that heavy to start.
i'm guessing around 3600 pounds for this one. a little heavier than the new Stang.
and did you hear the dimensions, 110" wheel base and 182.6" overall length. overall it's not as long as a 4th gen and rides on a longer wheelbase. the handling is gonna be insane in that thing!

the only thing that turns me off a little (not enough to dislike the car though) is that upper grille style. a little too pointy, mabye in a production version, if ever, itll be smoothed out a little. but even if not, ill still buy it.

yup. that's the car that will be debuting in Detroit on Monday.
the photos and vid (Road & Track are in deep **** for this one, but nothing anyone can do about it) were SUPPOSED to be released AFTER Monday.

i hope so. it is a hot lookin car.
we will see the pics that BigAl puts up monday or tuesday sinc ehe is in detroit for the press days.
i sort of agree about the grill. if you just push the sides of it forward a little bit so that it more closely follws the lines of the front boumper cover i think it would be perfect. i woudl buy it the way it is though, hot car

Looks pretty good, I like it. Not crazy about the nose, but it could just be the angle of the pic....

I dont like the whole front bumper/nose but the only picture I got to see was the one in this post since they killed the link before I saw it.
