I was more than happy with the work TEA did with my 243's (stage 2), but they dont have porting for them listed on their site anymore?

Maybe they don't port them then.

I think LS1 heads are pretty good in stock form, get a tune.

Also what cam shaft would be a good idea to use in the car. The car is A 98 z28 stock bottom end when im done with it full bolt on's 243 heads between 100-125 shot wet kit 4l60e trans and all the suporting mods the car is not on the road as of now it is a project probly wont be done till spring so i can get all the parts i want in ht car.
Also was thinking about running between a 3600-3800 stall all depending on the cam. For al you engine builder's out there hit me up so i have a good idea of where to start thanks.

For stock castings:
1) Greg Good.
2) Then comes MCP in Jackson N.J.
3) Then TEA

Hey guys will a Fuddle 3400 stall work well with a Texas Speed Torquer V2 232/234 .595"/.598 Camshaft? I like how the cam sounds and tsp says It should work with a 3000 rpm stall and up just wondering if anyone out there runs this set up or know's anyone who does?

I think you would be happier with a 3600. The cam and stall choice really depend on your intent with the car and tolerance for driving it with mods.

Weekend car. Reason im asking is i have a motor on an engine stand for it and im not putting a stock motor in the car since i can do it all with the motor out of the car makes it way easier to mod. its pretty much going to be a full bolt on h/c car when im done running a 100 wet shot car has a 4l60e in it looking for good 1/4 mile times streetablilty is not really a big deal to me. Like i said its only a toy i have a DD this is just for fun.

In that case I would go bigger than the torquer cam. The tsp 233/239 would have a good mid to upper rpm range and the split would benefit nitrous. The lift and duration on that cam is not radical so you would also be able to deck the heads and run thinner gaskets to gain a bit more power. This is not to say you should be stuck to tsp's cams, but an example of the size I think you should look at.

EPS came out with a line of new cams that seem to be performing well, so you could check them out too. If you're still lost on what cam to pick, you can always contact Patrick G on tech - he charges $25 to spec a custom cam, but it would be exactly to your intended setup and preferences.

I think you should look at a stall built to handle the power you want to throw at it. A hand grenade would be cheaper and more fun than an off-the-shelf fuddle. Talk to some venders like circle d, yank, or precision industries on their stall recommendations - they will give you the best answer, and then go from there.

Its easy to make power, but if your looking for track times you should also start to budget out proper suspension mods, and wheel/tire setup.

Yea kinda suck i have to work backwards in this car since the stock motor spun a bearing. If the motor was fine i would be in the market for a rear first then work my way forward.
