Rear main seal in two pieces

Pulled trans sun to repair leak and the rubber part of seal had been drawn in toward bearing cap. It was completely off outer ring! I found a second pcv valve in the right valve cover that is not supposed to be there. I guess after years driving like this it destroyed the seal. Installed new seal and correct parts in valve cover, no leak after test drive today. Hope to go to Island meet on 9-21 if still on? Thanks Steve

Yea, it got so bad I could not drive it unitl it got fixed. Looked under it this morning and saw a spot of oil on floor!! Heart skipped a beat! Turns out the grommet for the trans dipstick tube is bad. Will try and fix that wed. You can't win sometimes.
