who's good at audio

I'm having a few problems with connecting the new head unit and making everything work I'm only getting out put from my tweeter and that because they are not with the normal speakers but nothing else is working does anyone have any idea what it could be because my neighbor has done this for a few years but he couldn't figure it out we came to the conclusion that the system is double amping any one else have any ideas? head unit is an pioneer avid-d3 and the car is a 2000 lincoln ls it had the alpine premium sound

Are all the speakers individually amped from the factory?

Or maybe theres a main factory amp that you didnt hook a remote wire to to power it. Seen that before.

I searched the whole car and only foud one amp between what i was told are the fCtory subs
