2010 Camaro markup

How much does an Automatic 2ss Camaro without the RS package go for? Just wondering because this seems like quite a markup, esp. for a non-gm dealership.

$43k for a used SS is crazy.....

A 2SS / RS has an MSRP around $40, and that's brand new.

WOW i have a crazy change to this story. Drove past classic chevrolet by the moorestown mall. They have about ten camaros out front. So i stopped there, most of them are 1LT with ugly wheels, cloth, auto etc. I tell the guy my brother wants a v6 to replace his monte carlo, but doesn't want to pay a markup. (the stickers said 35k). The guy responds "These cars are used." I check the mileage, the car had 9400 miles on it!! I proceed to look at the SS they have up on the stand for kicks, and theres dents all down the passanger side door with paint chips and all. Price:45k for a used SS. I was completely shocked. They also added a nice 7k markup to their only brand new camaro.

Once again, these are first year cars, give them a good couple years when they become more readily available at lots, their prices will reduce to understanable levels.
He probably traded it in cause he either wanted a smoother ride, or he was getting hit by the fuzz in that loud ass red Camaro.

Reedman had several 2SS cars for around $37K. The dealers marking these cars up are crazy. They might get 1 unsuspecting buyer but they are really wasting their own time and money with the cars just sitting and not selling.

I was at Pine Belt in Lakewood today to pick up my plates. They had a dozen Camaros between inside and outside. And they had a few in the Cert. Used area. Not sure if they are in fact used, but they were all V6 cars, some RS's.

Pontiac DEALERS did the exact same thing with the 2004 GTO. It was marked up an average of $5,000 and you needed to give them your 1st born to unlock the car (I lost my son that way)! By the time the smoke cleared they were discounting them quite a bit because the 2005 were a big improvement. Also by the end of 2008 there still were Dealers with Brand New GTO's that were ONLY taking about $1,000 off LIST because these were RARE cars. Yeah, that's why they had new batteries in them and nobody still wanted them.

A few months ago I went to Flemington to look at an 05 that had 20k on it and it was barely below original price. I ended up belly laughing in the salesman's face.

We can't keep the Camaro on our lot, we've sold about 10 in the last 4-6 weeks. We've only had 2LTs and 2SSs. The only Camaro we have in stock now is a RJT 2SS with tan/black leather that was a factory order until the guy lost his job so we gave him the deposit back and let him walk. Other than that, they've been great. At dealer auctions they sell for over sticker between dealers. Hell, we've got the Transformers car coming in next haha. They're hella nice cars for 36k
