Since it has been used for the Toys for Tots run were already ahead of the game beings that the troopers in the area have run it before successfully and most of the paperwork can just pretty much be inked over from the same paperwork for the Corvette guys.

Not only that but do you really wanna try to do a top speed run (legally) down the turnpike or 295 or something...the AC expressway is pretty smooth and an awesome venue for this. not to mention traffic down south during the weekday is pretty smooth sailing. trying to slow down traffic anywhere in central nj would be murder.
Nasty-
You're totally right. The precedent helps in this case.
It looks like I won't be in for this one, but would gladly donate $25 to help see you guys get out on the road.

thanks a lot jersey mike thats an awesome thing...of course we wouldnt turn down donations to those that want to help out but cant make it

another thing to point out to make things clearer is what mike was hinting at. The run will start somewhere close to the start of the Atlantic City Expressway and up to a meet up place in A/C for some sort of picnic/mingling going on...depends what kind of support we can muster up.

the corvette guys got 500 people and gm sponsorship. Im hoping maybe we can get the aforementioned 100 Fbodies to show up. If we can get the ball rolling im sure we could post this to other f-body forums abroad.

NastyEllEssWon Thanks for helping out on this. Great Idea to put a poll thread.. Also, why dont we put the same poll/event on other f-body sites?
50-100 is good with me.. I could also probably get a quite a few cars from my club to tag along as we finalize the date for the event..
cbrrmike That would be awsome if we could do that!

i'd probably have to do this, under the current circumstances.

i can do $50, more if i have it. i would suggest getting other clubs involved if we don't get enough support here. like EPFBOA or whatever it is.

I do it for $50, except I have a Trans Am and my preferred charity is to help the women that can barely afford clothing and dance to get a few bucks so that they can.

I'd be in. High speed running or not, putting money to a great cause and seeing so many F-bodies together would be worth it. Our site would get some major publicity too!

We all know I have no running F-Body, but I would be more than willing to kick in a few bucks, hop in Mike's TBSS and snap pictures of all the fun.

im in on this. a huge f body run and proceeds to charity sounds like a win-win to me. willing to donate as well. hope this comes thru.

any REALISTIC chance this will happen THIS summer? i know the wheels of justice often spin mind-boggingly slow..
