Chevy vs Ford 1 tons

http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2010/11...e-rockies.html

This is the most solid smackdown I think I've ever seen in a comparison test.

Yep, even after Ford's 2nd update in power ratings, the Chevy still took the win.
This is why Ford wouldnt take the direct challenge that GM gave them a few months ago.

This is the second shoot-out where the GM diesels knocked down the Fords.
What was impressive was the braking test. when the Ford brakes were getting baked, and the GM brakes were more then fine.

I did get a chance to drive the 3500 diesel from GMC a few weeks ago, and it was a brute. Brakes and handling were way above what I was expecting.
I also got to meet Mike Levine, writer of that shoot-out. Super cool dude, awesome to work with.
