There have been a few instances in the past month at my store about fuel pumps or certain sensors on the sending unit going bad, turns out they didn't change the wiring harness. Apparently for any of our warrenties to work for the fuel pumps, you have to change out the wiring harness, not sure why, but you might of pooped it if you kept the same harness. looks like you'll have to drop the tank and hotwire the pump to see if it runs. hopefully we didn't get a bad batch, my pump wont be going in for months, so who knows by then.
How much time have you put on that pump since install?

I am hoping they send me the leftover one, still waiting for a response...
And I used the stock wiring, so the pump if anything should be running at less that full load...

If you want i'll send out the new fuel pump out to you this week if you plan on dropping the tank this weekend so that way you can get it back on the road quicker.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune, I never really heard about any problems with Walboro fuel pumps, I have the same fuel pump in my GN and its been in there for 5 years now.
Just shoot me a PM with your address and I'll have Matt send it out tomorrow.

Yup, I am fully aware of the method you are talking about.
Just don't like cutting my car.

I know the option is there... I have half assed a lot on the car, and have been trying to put a stop to that recently...
