i'll be out there along with some other south members and friends of mine. i wont be in the car show but i will be hangin out and drinking for the weekend!
to all who go down there- DO NOT do burnouts or even chirp the tires. The cops have been more and more anal each and every year since 2002. they will write you many tickets, usually a reckless driving ticket.
i hate to say that but its true, and i dont want to see anyone get hassled by the man.

So do I...those were my high school years when it was awesome. I remember one year a young cop was actually telling the cars it was okay to do huge burnouts coming off the boardwalk.. ooo the good ole days. Thats why OC Maryland is good, you get away with a ALOT.

WOW. Wildwood was a total waste of time, gas, and money ![Sad](http://www.njfboa.org/forums/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif) . I have no plans to ever go back again sadly. By 10:30 is was DEAD. Even the bars were closing at like 11!!! Terrible!

Not for nothing guys but common sense would have told you just by looking at the weather report for the weekend that it was going to be a horrible turn out in Wildwood. It rained all day Friday and most of Saturday which are the 2 big event days. Like its been said before, Wildwood has gotten more and more strict on what they will let go on down there. Cops roam around all the streets, they have eliminated most of the fun things to go see ie: Flame Throwers & Burnout Contest. I went over for about 10 mins saw that it was really lame, still raining, no one was around and barely many nice cars were on the boardwalk.
Bottom line is hopefully the Sept. show will be better weather, in turn producing a better turn out and more people. Besides the fact that Irish Festival is the same weekend and that always seems to draw a nice crowd.
