CS130 alternators are not the greatest. It may not handle the load with the lights on at night. I went with a CS144 in my 91 GTA.
I would try the smaller pulley if you have no problems with voltage with more RPM
What gauge wire did you "upgrade" the big 3? I thought the "big 3" were the wires that come from the harness to the starter post?
