That early traffic ought to be ok. 4 hours or so?

Probably 3.5 hours from you depending on traffic. I would stay on Tpk over bridge and go into DE-1 and then 113 probably. If you leave at 5am you should be OK minus the final beach traffic in DE/MD

The last 30 min or so had stoplights and is more akin to Rt 9 at the Jersey Shore.

Made it 3.5 pulling the trailer in May. Watch your speed over the Del bridge. They love Jersey plates. Also in Rehoboth beach they will get you for tint and all the other BS. So no road sodas. Leave early to beat any traffic.

They cant give you a tint ticket, unless your car is registered in MD. Like someone driving in NJ with tints from PA can't get a ticket. State laws can only be enforced on cars that are registered to said state

Not so sure this is true. They tow and hand out tickets to those fart rockets that are lowered and chambered to much. And even if they can't ticket you, they can certainly pull you over for it and find something to ticket you for. Just saying watch your speed in those 25mph areas. They are hiding & looking for out of staters to make some $$$ on. Just like the Jersey cops do to the PA and NY guys.

they can't but they bank on you not wanting to come back to fight it, so you just pay it.

I don't let this out to many people but I will give you some advice... when you go to Seacrets... DO NOT bring sun screen... find a nice bachelorette party and ask nicely to borrow some of theirs. Clearly dudes don't rub each other down with lotion, so when I comes time to put it on your back you ask one of them. The plan is bullet proof, however you my end up smelling like a girl. But that's normally the plan anyway. Good luck Be safe buddy. Also But your phone/money in a legit ziplock bag because it will get wet at some point during the day.
