MSD6AL with mallory coil

I just bought a 6Al and the guy kinda threw in a mallory coil. He said that he used it on an LT1 but the coil has only two connectors and then the one stud for the coil spark wire. So I am confused as to how I supposed to make that work with the ICM? He was positive that it works so I hope so at least. Any ideas? And I have no adobe so sending me links to the MSD site doesn't really help.

Ok well, anways, I found the MSD diagram, but its for a GM dual connector. But my coil only has three wires... And they MSD shows two pinks and two whites? And I think I can run the mallory but I am wondering how I hook everything up?

Couple ideas?

There are different coils listed for different year LT1s. You may have the wrong coil for your year car?

For wiring, I have the Accel 300+ ign. system, the two factory connections that normally go to the coil connect to the accel box, then one plug comes out of it and connects to the coil. The remaining connectin on the coil is just blank.

As far as aftermarket coils killing optis? Some say the MSD coil is too strong and kill optis, but you have to wonder about the condition of the opti prior to the upgrade. I ran the Accel box and coil for 10 years, 65k miles with 0 problems with the coil/opti. i did experience a capacitor failure.

Well its an after market coil, but it sure as hell won't fit on the ICM. I got the MSD plug and play harness so I don't have to chop anything. The mallory is a newer, box style coil, with two spade type connectors on top, and since the MSD only outputs two wires I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
