i like my bird with a little carnage-asada - updated with pics

this is a piston, its happy in its home. everything is how it should be

this is a piston...an angry piston...

this is the cylinder wall

this is a cam lobe with the lifter removed

this is ZOMG WHERES THE CAM!!!!!!!!!

bent valve, nothing crazy

more to come when the motor comes out. the think that disturbes me is ALL of the pistons are down. none are in compression/exhaust. i'm thinking the crank is in a few pieces too.

i was expecting the piston to be mauled but i wasn't expecting the cam to be disintegrated. in one section...i have the front part with the timing gear and the back with the distributor gear

bad idea, small crown on pistons and ringlands really close to the top, not good with forced induction. same with my 408 stroker.

how about bbc and blower

How about a 400 small block since it's already set up for that displacement?

I already have a 4-bolt main 010/020 casting 350 and its .030 bored, so its either an all forged 383 or an all forged 396...

You don't need no forged / blown block, you need to get a nice, clean nasty 3.8 setup, drop it in that bitch, and start whooping ass And yes, im talking about the third gen

i would go 383 unless you plan on half filling the block with a 396. then again knowing you nothing will get done properly anyway so anything will just fall apart. go with a 434!

May we please have a moment of silence for yet another victim of Bubba. When will the needless deaths of these motors stop? When will the carnage cease?

With your help and donations we can put an end to this travesty. Donate your time and $$$ now so we can get every last vehicle out of Bubba's possession. You too can make a difference in the life of a small block Chevy. With your subscription you'll get a picture and update of your sponsor motor, showing it's long happy life outside the reach of Bubba.

Don't delay, act now.
