Timmmy I Havent forgot about you!

I have installed since this post my 3.42, and my underdrive pulleys... I did the slp pulleys because my old pulleys were squealing so I decided to upgrade... That was a JOB! I had to remove my rack and pinnon to snake out the crank pulley and the lower tensioner pulley... Not that it was hard to remove it, just didnt expect to run into that much.... Just did that job last week.

Have you installed the driver mod yet?

Let us know when you get back to the track - anxious to see what some mods and a little more seat time will get you.

Holy thread from the past Batman!!

I was just actually talking to CBRRMike today about getting back to the track for a little practice. Got a date to get out and shake it down picked out in early May, then it's on like Donkey Kong!!

I don't see the outcome changing without a different driver. The 3.42's will help, the pulleys won't do much. Have you changed anything else since then? A tune will REALLY wake the car up...

I can't wait to get to the track but I'm too scared to watch my high mileage motor puke out a rod, lol.

By June or July you are gonna need more than just a fresh bottom end in that turd buddy. If not, the side action will be all about how much you get covered by.

This is how they stood when the race occurred. Keep in mind that 'vette had 2.73s and a stock converter.
