New Atco Results

So i took my opti off today after replacing the Coil, ICM, Plugs, and Wires because it was really the only thing left to replace lol. apparently a Rotor screw came off (spinning to almost 7k is bad?) and it just made a big mess inside. so the new one went on today as well (yes Vinnie its a one day job) and i hit the track.

First Pass (Launched at 5k-5500)

60' 1.823
1/4 12.292
MPH 114.83(short shifted 1st)

Second and last pass (Launched at 6k)

60' 1.749
1/4 11.96
MPH 116.52

this is a new best for me and the car has alot more in it. Thanks Ron for all the help today getting it put back together, and Josh for dialing the suspension in

27" QTPs with 3.73 gears lol not the ideal combo for a 6 speed but im hoping to go with 4.30s soon

Yeah that gear and tire combo is hurting you. With the right gears you'll be another 3+ tenths quicker but still impressive non the less!

yes, I liked JS's facebook status on your car. Was it a record breaker or just to show off how the car did?

so what is the goal with the car in "full" weight? or are you happy with the 11.96?

Congrats again Josh!

And Vinnie, I believe he's looking for mid 11's once the correct gear is in the car (as he said above).

yeah I'm hoping for mid 11s the way the car sits but with new gears. I'm not throwing out any other predictions after the car goes on a diet but it's gonna be fast

btw the car has no AC, Power Steering, or Sway bar but thats it for the weight reduction. it also has full suspension and a 12bolt so im probably sitting at about factory weight right now just distributed in the back more
