I thought the rims looked better Gold. I wouldn't have painted them though, GTA rims are ment to be gold. But since you went black polish the lip like everyone said.

And invest in a real jack to avoid using the foctory one....

GTA rims are known for being gold like deadtrend said, you could have traded them for plain trans am rims which are black stock and wont chip/peel, but

It could just be a combination of the light they are in and crappy paint.

it was matt actually. Why? what did you do with the rims I sold you ... haha

matt,
As long as you get the paint off the lip at least, that would be fine pending you prepared the crosslace surface well enough that the paint will last on it.

Well, they are on the car, sitting there. I just thought maybe it had something to do with them not being utilized well. I haven't done anything to them....

matt calm down man. u have 2 years b4 u get ur license to kill, i mean drive. get some stripper on the lips, take off the paint and polish. it isnt hard, my rims werent bad so i just used #0000 steel wool and hit em with mothers and then put a coat of wax on em. and they shine real nice. also be4 u paint a surface(like the spokes) scuff them up a lil bit, throw down a primer then scuff the primer up and throw down the coat of paint. i've done enough rim restore(between dusters, 79 trans ams, etc) this **** is mind numbing
