Help! Belt walking.

Ever since I did the cam swap last month my belt has been coming off. The tensioner feels tight so should I look into a non spring loaded tensioner? Or could mine be going bad and just order an OEM tensioner? Also are there pullies with higher walls to prevent this from happening? Anyone else have this issue after a cam swap?

check the rest of the pulleys for play because my sisters bmw 328i had the same thing happening and it turned out to be one of the other pulleys was bad causing play resulting in belt walking off another pulley

Take a strait edge and place the bottom of it on the crank pulley. Keep pressure on the strait edge from applying pressure at the crank pulley side, verify that no pulley sits in. Now slide your hand down the strait edge to the pulley you are checking and out pressure on that side. Make sure it's not the crank pulley that is recessed.
Repeat for each pulley.

Another thing that will cause a belt to get thrown off is a pulley with excessive wobble.

Is the crank pulley installed fully? Was it pinned?
