Pro's and con's of Speed Density tune???

I see alot of guys referring to this and getting rid of the MAF, but is there any advatange or is it simply another route to arrive at the same destination? I am not well versed in any of the tuning software at all, but am curious. If anyone has done this, I'd be interested in hearing your results and experience: power, reliability, sensitivity to weather changes (i.e. cold weather driving), inspection (for us NJ guys, that's a big one) and anything else you've encountered.....

or maybe just point me toward a good info source on the net???

I'm hoping Bill chimes in here

Chris

No need to go to a speed density tune on a daily driver.

Back to back on the dyno have seen no gains.
