New Best

14.8 @ 91

With a 2.32 60'.

This was my first (and best) run of the night. I think its cause I actually let the car sit in the lanes (while off) and iced the intake. On the other 2, it was getting late so I was just worried about getting in the last 2 runs.

I wouldn't bother changing the intake on a stock-cammed car. The stock cam is only good to maybe 5K, and the other intakes really like upper rpm airflow. You need TQ to get that heavy 'vert moving.

If it doesn't have 'em already, headers are a must. Then a cold-air setup (like the SLP). After that, get a tune! Jon Prevost will work magic on that car. Also, start looking at the rear suspension and launch technique. 2.3' 60's are killlllling you. If you knock it down to 2.0s, that's an easy mid-14.

Not bad - but a 2.0 60' would get you a 14.2 - 14.3 in similar weather....
