Sig Size Limits?

I was just wondering if there were any plans to put a limit on sig sizes of pictures/text theres just some sigs that take up a whole page. I know alot of major boards have sig size limits with restricted picture sizes, dimensions and rows of text.

Just an idea to make browsing the board easier on the eyes.

There is currently a limit of 150x500 on picture sizes, and a max of 500 characters for sig size.

500 too long. More like 250 or less works.

Anyone wanna second the motion to shrink sig size limits to 250 characters instead of 500?

sure, as long as i can keep my picture and current words in my sig i dont care what happens to it. your sig is 246 characters and i think its plenty big.

but huge sigs dont bug me, cable ftw. so really it makes no difference.

500 is good enough. Dunno why the hell Alex is hallucinating, but I have yet to see an extremely long signature.

Please do not add that image to another post until it is resized.

The size limits were imposed for bandwidth reasons.

Do all the tags ( [quote], [color..., etc.) count in the character count?

I know they do in other forums I read, but judging by all the bolds, colors, and so forth, I guess they might not?
