HID Question

Alright let me clear up what i have been through. I had originally two 9005 bulbs, two 9005 ballist, and two cords inbetween the original wiring harness and balist. After my accident one of them was not working. Bought a new bulb still did not work. So now what i have accumulated is this . . .

4 - wiring harness (between balist and original wiring)
4 - bubls (including original)
3 - ballist ( should be a forth but i can find it)

All but one bulb works because of a cut wire.

All balist work

Only one wiring works with the balist connected to them. If i hook up just a regular 9005 halogen bulb they all work.

Forgot to mention, fuses are good, i tried it with the engine running and off.

I checked continuity through all the wiring harness and they all worked i guess next check is resistence but i am not sure what number to look for.

Anyone have any ideas on what to try so i dont have to buy anything else ? Or does anyone have that wire that i am talknig about that they know works.

try this quick, on the wires that dont work, put 2 jumper wires so you can switch the voltage. like how they hook up with a direct plug in, try putting it so tan(stock headlight wiring) goes to black(hid ground) and red(hid wiring) to black(stock headlight wiring).

edit, yea after looking as close as possible at the pic, it does seem the 3 "bad" wires have the terminals switched. a regular 9005 halogen bulb does not care which terminal is which but the HID ballasts are very specific. many aftermarket HID kits mess that up. Was that issue on my friends charger when i installed some.
