Sequential Tail Light question

I have had them for about a year and never a problem untill about a month ago when the passenger side started to go on when Turn signal was engaged but it seemed to go on slow.

Like I hit the switch and then they go on 15 sec late.
Now they are not turning on.

I looked for a disconect or something like that, but see nothing and the bulbs look good.

Is there somthing I should look for?
Could it be the switch since the driver side is fine?
Anyone else who has them have you had any issues?

I really dont know- cause I didnt install them so I am kinda lost but before I get too dirty with the problem thought someone would have some ideals

or best place to start if connection and bulbs are good.

there is a device wired in there that will control the output to each individual bulb. i have no idea what exactly it is but it should be simple enough to find. that has probably gone bad. might be a flasher like device. not sure where you will get a replacement, maybe radioshack.

Yeah I checked it out and how it was wired up, I got one wire that looks to be a ground- disconnected but- Again there are a 1001 wires that do nuthing in my car that have yet to be removed.

This wire does not connect to anything in the area of the tailights.

Bulbs are ok....

And the unit is a single box style, why would one side work and not the other....

Next question if I cant figure it out

what are my options?
any one know anyone in my area who can take a look at it ( ofcourse I would pay for the time and anything needed.)

or is there any other suppliers who I could get another one from. i have yet to find anyone who has in stock the unit for my car

89GTA.

Stang on the other hand....JC whitney even sells there parts.....

of topic vent

well its pretty custom so i doubt anyone "stocks" it. you could probably get a stang kit to work, just need a little know how and ingenuity. maybe this "box" has two sides in it? obviously it has to differentiate the power to either tail light. you sure you traced both tail lights and they led to just one box?

Yeah both wiring units go into one box....

See this is why I like to eithere do it myself or atleast be involved with everything that is done to my car.

I know that I could learn the systemm but I just hoped that someone whould have a better back ground.

i have seen that there are "ALL LED" Tail lights for 82-84 TA by Classic LED's, Nuthing for 89...Tho.

Thanks
