True duals out the rear aren't really worth the hassle and cost and loss of ground clearance if you go under the axle. True duals with dumps won't pass inspection either. But if you really want to make the effort, here's a setup done on a 4th gen with Sweet Thunder chambered mufflers. The Bassani is expensive but at least it's stainless so the cost is more justifiable.

i'd opt for gmmg mufflers and their tips but nice bends!

I don't think too many companies make chambered mufflers even though many of them sell them with their name on them. Sound is probably the same all else being equal.

I have the Basanni TD system. It sounds good at WOT, but there are a couple things I'm dissappointed in. I have a rattle in the rear of the exhaust, it is either where the pipes come over the axle because they are so close to each other, or it is coming from where the pipe passes close to the upper panhard rod brace bar. The other thing I dont care for is how the pipes are at the back. The tail pipes point down slightly, and I don't like how it looks.
If I could do my exhaust over again, I would just go with a Y pipe and catback. I'd probably go with the GMMG exhaust. I think I would also go with Kooks headers instead of QTP's. QTP's are really nice, and a good bargain for a stainless header, but the fitment is not great. My passenger side primary is against the frame rail.

Motor vehicle code in NJ states that the exhaust must exit at the rear or side of the vehicle at least 4" behind the last window that can be rolled down. Keep that in mind when planning your exhaust setup.

To backtrack to the cut-out I also did back to back runs when I had my dual cut-outs. The cut-outs closed with Magnaflow exhaust beat the cut-out open by at least 10HP to 3900RPM, then the cut-outs open peaked a whole 2 HP higher. That was also backed up at the track by a loss of .2 and 3 MPH with the cut-outs open Vs closed, and this was on a heads/cam car making over 500 at the flywheel. I think on a pure race car with stupid power you may see a gain but for your set-up just get a good cat-back/Y-pipe and be done.
