Thanks to everyone that made it out to our February Monthly Meet at the Texas Roadhouse in Millville. We have a blast with a dozen or so F-Bodies and 30+ members coming to hang out. There was great food, great bench racing, and lots of laughs as always. The highlight of the meet was something that we had to skip at the January Monthly Meet because the member in question was not available to attend. We announced our first ever Member of the Year. This recognition went out to Melissa, 79CamaroDiva, for her contributions to the club throughout 2006. Melissa contributed time with events, helped promote the club, and even did all of the layout work on the NJFBOA 2007 wall calendar.

For our March Monthly Meet we have our second annual Dyno Day planned. We will be visiting our friends at TTP in Passaic Park once again for another great time. There will be free food all day long, lots of laughs, and a smokin’ deal on dyno pulls. There are still a few spots available to dyno, so to see all the details and to get signed up check out the March Monthly Meet thread stickied in the lounge: http://www.njfboa.org/forums//showthread.php?t=23395

We will also be selling our remaining club merchandise (T-shirts, Hoodies, and Calendars) at blowout prices at the March Monthly Meet. So please talk to NJSPEEDER or Tru2Chevy while you are there to pick up some things.

We are proud to announce the addition of a new section and two new discussion forums to the site. At the request of many members, the decision was made to add a new "Competition Forums" area with discussion areas for Drag Racing and Road Racing/Auto-X. These forums will be a great help to everyone looking for setup tips, discussion of events, and receiving feedback about lap and 1/4 mile times. To check out the new forums, follow this link, http://www.njfboa.org/forums//forumdisplay.php?f=50

We are continuing to work on our anniversary meet as well. The 2007 East Coast F-Body Nationals is quickly shaping up to be the biggest yet. We have a great prize fund that is growing and lots of interest from F-Body clubs all over the northeast and mid-Atlantic states. We expected to see far more cars and spectators than ever before. This will definitely be a 'do not miss' event. To see all the class details and times, please clink on this link: http://www.njfboa.org/forums//forumdisplay.php?f=32

The winter weather also seems to have lead to another surge in new member sign ups. We have crested the 1300 member mark and continue to see new names everyday. We would like to thank everyone for our continued growth. It is because of all of you talking about what the club has to offer and the events that we host we continue to see more and more people visiting the forum and attending our meets. Please keep spreading the word about all that we have to offer.

Now that things are cooling off from some of the bigger recent changes we have seen on the site we are going to be moving forward with a lot of new additions outside of the forums. We have software ready to start testing for a Past Events Photo Gallery and a framework prepared for the posting of technical articles. Expect to see details in the next few weeks about these great new features.

Thanks again to everyone for your support of the NJFBOA. We appreciate all the feedback and faith that you have all shown in the club. Hope to see you all on March 24th at TTP for the club Dyno Day.
