I have a friend looking for a car and he might like this. I'll pass it on. What is done to it to consider it a "resto-mod"?

A lot of the info is in the CL ad but I can sum up a bit.

Interior is done, originally it was red but now black and gold. The 8Track radio is in ther and works but I also have a Modern head unit put in there with a special glove box adapter so nothing had to be cut.
The hood scoop was modified to fit the bigger motor, and it fits with factory equipment.

The Braking system is all new with larger rotors and stronger calipers, and a new MC.

The engine is a 400 from a 73 GTO and so is the Trans and Carb. The motor was built under 1000 miles ago and I have all the paper work from the builder as well as photos.

All new weather stripping

Full exhaust with a pypes violator system.

There is a lot done that was different from what this 81 had originally
If he is interested please let me know and he can call me or just stop on by.

Here is a link to a thread I started about the car a while back.

ok cool. Resto mod usually indicates modern updates like OD transmission, etc. What is the brake upgrade?

The trans was originally a metric 200 now a TH-350.

Brembo rotors, RAYBESTOS Part # ATD154C and ATD52M went with a newer Master cylinder and redesigned Calipers since all the remans I bought were done poorly.

Nothing like bear brakes though
