There is no Map sensor on an '85 TPI. There is a MAF sensor though, located in the rubber elbow coming off the throttle body. It should have a flat 4-wire connector plugged into the bottom of it.

yeah. steve is right, it shouldnt have a map sensor, only MAF. however if it wasnt TPI, (ccc quadrajet or TBI) then im pretty sure there is a map sensor. my map sensor on my 87 monte SD tpi system now is actually off of my stock 84 monte SS(it was mounted on the passenger front fenderwell). In the f bodies, the map sensor should be right above the a/c box (to the right a little) or over right above the brake booster. It has a green(im pretty sure) 3 wire connector and a vacuum hose fitting which may or may not be plugged or connected. However, if its TPI from years 85-89, the map wasnt used, but the 85-86 tpi cars MAY have still had them in place just plugged or such. i know the 85-86 had specific relays for the maf so who knows what else they had...

btw why do you need to find it? j/w
