yea, I'm really thinking about redoing the exhaust...I'd be loosing so much money it's not worth it though, but, if it saves the trans it might be worth it, but the trans is still making noises so who the **** knows what's with it.

update- called BMR to make sure it was a "common" problem to have to cut up the torque arm mount to clearance it for the 9in and the tech's responce was "the 9in housing varies so much that it is common to have to trim them on the s60, 12 bolt, 9in..." so after about an hr of cutting the torque arm it fit. It's so nice to not be driving on stock torque arm now...can't wait to hit the track.

I have a bmr ta and mine was a b!$#@ to put on with my 9 inch but I managed to get it on without modding anything. You'll find out soon that on big bumps and hard launchs T/A mount on the rear is gonna hit the floor/trans tunnel if its not clearenced at all.

yea, I clearanced it with the BFH mod. I think that was the majority of my problem from the start. O well, the chromoly piece is definitely lighter than stock now

mine rubs the floor between the rear seats, but only because i was able to use the outer most mounting holes, keeping the arm as far centered as possible. If i used the other set, it would be a hole. I do however have a hole behind the rear seat where the top bolt for the torque arm mount bracket "clearanced" the metal right above the tunnel hump area.
