No real way to guess. Some people break their rears on street tires with just some spirited driving, others can run 10's on drag tires at the track for ages before they frag the 10 bolt. Obviously, those are both extremes, but you never know....

Man I wish there was a definite answer haha. I guess maybe i'll just have to chance it.....exactly why i'm becoming an engineer; because the dumb engineers at GM design a rearend that can't take abuse...

The 7.5 was never meant to stand up to 300+ hp cars, that was the GM beancounters that didn't want to spend the money to use one of GMs stronger rears in our cars.

Regardless...it was a very dumb decision haha. Its such a weak link in these cars, its sad. Think I may just go for it and make sure I never dump the clutch.
