yea i seen that thread a while back i wasnt sure if you settled on a wheel yet or not... those are going to look sick man on your car... i was in the same boat i like some more pricey wheels but only had so much to spend... and what i spent was enough for me lol.

so got some packages in on friday and did a test fit on the rear yesterday. looks like im going to need to do somthing with my LCA's. ill either call spohn and get those other ones that james brought to my attention. or just alter mine to work which is basically what they did. leaning toward doing it my self if i can get my hands on some heavy steel tubing. other than that they look like they will fit no problem everywhere else.

thank you sir... and "dem small calipers" stayen on there for a while becuase brakes arent in the budget.. plug only have less then an inch of clearance left from the stock lt1 brakes so i have no clue what ill use in the back when the time comes... doubt there is a fixed caliper out there that will clear the wheel

not worried about the front... the rear brakes is whats going to be the problem... idk what i can use back there to get a bigger brake setup..

well little progress on the car... but boat is just about ready to go in. gotta paint bottom yet and change oil and gear oil and should be set... got her striped, and new numbers courtesy of kirk@undergrounds (thanks again). also got brand new emblems...

Rear brakes don't do a whole lot anyway... wouldn't worry about them

Gear oil is by far the most repulsive oil there is. Aside from burnt gear oil.

I do agree gear oil is rather putrid. Burnt dexcool is pretty bad too though....

so after not touching car for most of july and august i got back to working on it a few weeks ago. got most of the left side tub in now. Right side is in and done for most part but i wanna go back and fix a few parts that im not happy with. got a couple spots to finish up on the left side yet but its getting there step by step. this project is to big to look at big picture at this point. just taking it day by day. took couple pics tonight of progress...
