Island Dragway: Text Message Alerts
That's right, not only are we catching up with the times, but we're moving ahead with technology and offering our racers Text Messaging Alerts!
We have joined forces with Pagegroups.com, and are beta testing their newest software. They are a local company, located in Warren County, and we have the kind of large customer base that they are looking for. Signing up for it is simple and free, and anyone with a text enabled phone can make use of it! We plan on using this service for schedule and weather related information.
For those unfamiliar with Text Messages, if you do not have them included on your cell phone plan, most companies charge around 10 cents for each received. If you do have them included, then how many are included varies by plan. Please consult your cell phone company for more information regarding charges to your phone.
As always, your information will not be handed out to anyone else. We have never and will never sell or give out our racer's personal information.
