have fuel but no spark...

I checked spark at the coil and nothing. I plugged in another coil I have that worked when I removed it, and still no spark. ICM maybe? Any ideas? Also checked all my fuses.

Let me elaborate: I had the car idling, was a little screwy due to the VSS but other then that it was fine. I went to shut off my lights and just as I reached for the switch, the car died.

Isnt it just nice to replace ignition parts without having to remove some or part of the front of the engine including the water pump?
Just wanted to get that out there. What did that take ya Ted? About 20 mins? 25 if you applied the di-electirc grease to the bottom of it?
Suck on it Opti

Al, the ICM isn't in the opti. It bolts to the driver side head. Takes 5 minutes on an LT1.

I think he means in general, the entire ignition system. No components require taking apart the front of the engine....like some cars ahem

Al, it was glorious, I even did it in the pouring rain..25 minutes and back on the road.
