Great Meadows is a few miles before Hackettstown (if ur coming from the west) . When your on Rt 46, all you gotta do is look out for the signs pointing to Island Dragway, and it will be a road on your left called "Island Rd" ... u will then go on a 1/2 mile or so road with cornfields on the left and right at the end is the dragway.

No road. Mapquest doesn't know how to get me to the track from there.

Sounds like the Island webmaster *cough* should capture a google map or something and put it on the website labeled "Map" or something.

hey guys new to the board but i'm from lifba and i just wanted to thank you guys for the invitation to the f-body nationals. i was there last year and with the exception of the heat and my buddy snaping his driveshaft it was a good time. can't wait for the 20th but i have a question on the rules, are they going to enforce the fire jacket rule for s/c and n20 cars?

If the clutch holds up I'll bring the SS396. But I need to find the easiest route with the least number of stop signs and traffic lights!

shoot 579 to 31. that is as easy as it gets from down here. with the exception of right in flemingotn there are very few stop lights/signs.
you can avoid a few of them by following 579 through ringoes(keeping to the left at the Y in the road) you can cross over to 31 on rt12(i think that is it) and come out at teh circle. that would skip several lights

ill be there, hopefully the street tire guys will go around the water box instead of bringing it to the line.. if possible can someone post something addressing the street tire cars not to do this, for the fact that its not only bad for them but it really screws up the slick guys.. thank you!

I should be there if Uncle Sam doesn't scoop me up again. If I get my transmission tuning ironed out I might race (first time since I blew it up last year at the Nats). Otheriwse I'll plunk it into the show classes somewhere.
