Changed the wheels up...

Bought a set of chrome ZR1's that were pitting bad over the Summer, rather then buy a new set I decided to go the plastidip route...315's in the rear, 275's up front.....only thing left on her is to tint the front and rear marker lights...

Easy champ. Before pic would help to see the difference between what you had and the $10 restoration you did on the wheels.

What do you think of the Plasti-dip? Easy to work with, seem pretty solid on the wheels?

I think it looked better when they were polished/chrome, but it's up to you. My two cents? Peel that **** off.

I liked the chrome on with this color, but the black doesn't look that bad.

It's really easy to work with a bit of a pain to peel it back off though. The only problem I ran into with dip on the wheels was when I put some tire shine on and hit the applicator on the rim and some of it dissolved.

What's that tell you about tire shine? It's bad for tires too.
