minitub kit question

where is everyone getting their minitubs at aside from wolfe racecraft? every thread i read seems to be that kit and its crazy expensive is there anywhere cheaper?

the cost of the kit is peanuts compared to the labor to install.

i just used sheetmetal from the local steel yard, cut to size for mine. Materials probably cost 20 bux.

ya im gonna install it myself, and i went with the summit 36" wheel tub kit for $95 shipped and im gonna cut it up to fit, hopefully it will all go well

Good idea, I got full size tubs from a fellow racer. We just cut them to fit as mini tubs, it worked out great. Post pics when your done!

The wolfe kit is meant to work with a 98 fbody its worth every penny you also need the spring perch kit

good to hear someone else went this route... and 1984camaroz28 i heard you can narrow a rear 3.75" per side before having to adjust anything

that sounds about right for a 4th gen since i know you can narrow a 3rd gen width rear about 1.5 or 1.75 before you get too close to the lca mounts and panhard bar
