anyone know where to get an OBDI scanner? my car is running like crap!!!

so i give my 94 3.4 camaro with 200k on it a tune up including, plugs wires, and O2 sensors, and the SES light decides to come on as soon as i start the car, it ran great but as it warmed up it started missing, adn when i restarted the car it sputters for about 15 seconds and then smooths out, i need to know where to get an OBDI scanner so i can run the codes and see what the hell is wrong, if anyone knows where to get one please let me know, thanx

jsut stop by your local autozone store. they will scan your codes for free and let you know what the SES light is all about.

can't you just ground the 2 pins on OBD1??? then find the list of trouble codes online?

ok heres what happened i went to advance they have the an OBD1 code reader made by actron for 28 dollars with a manual and a list of codes, it is good for 82-95 GM cars and trucks except caddy's, the reason i couldnt have them scan it is because the car isnt registered yet, chevelle 454 youre problem is your car is probably equipped with and OBD1 system but you have an OBD2 style port on your car GM was f ing reatrded for doing it but they did it anyways so you ahve to find someone with a scanner that is OBD1 & 2 compatible and use the OBD2 plug but read the codes using the OBD1 function, that is what i got from this fiasco

Autozone was able to scan my 96 SS for me so they can scan both OBDI and OBDII cars. But those are really just code readers, not scanners. Auto Xray will actually scan and display many of the sensor and computer readings. But I wouldn't pay more than $75-80 for a used Auto Xray.
