New Commodore

Holden showed off the all-new Commodore. No specs on weight or power yet, just car for now with some bits on the technology.

The Chevrolet SS will be shown next Sunday with some NASCAR announcement something.

What happened to those statements that the chevrolet version of the g8 would only be brought to the states as a fleet vehicle?

No one ever said that. The Caprice, the long-wheel base version, is here as a fleet-only model.
We told everyone that we would be getting the upgraded Commodore once the development was done. It's done, and now it's coming as a production car for retail.

Interior looks great. Exterior is nice but a little soft for my taste.

It reminds me of a Sonata, actually.

I like it, but I kind of hope the front end styling is different when it is badged for the USA.

haha actually now that you mention it is closer to the sonata than the genesis but still close enough within the manufacturer to be right but yeah its not a knock on either car, they both look great, but im actually in the market to purchase a 4 door and i'd prefer it to be with a nice v8 in it. overall id really just like a lumina ss from the mideast

This is the "aggressive" face that Nasty is talking about. I don't see what's so aggressive about it. It looks so tacked on and meh.

As for what the SS will look like....

Actually, I'm very much digging the car that Al linked to in the OP. The SS looks nice too.

I think they skimped on the rear though. Not a huge fan of the rear seat design either. Otherwise, I like it.

It looks like a Nissan Infiniti. Almost has the lines of 40 other cars from Japan or Germany. The G8 GT was a homerun in the looks department.

This new holden looks really pretty but damn what is up with GM turning there cars into Import looking cars? The C7 and now this. It looks like a Lexus or Genesis. They look really nice but they are missing that GM look to them.

By the responses here, you'd figure that Cobalt, Gen6 Malibu & ebay body kit sales were through the roof.
