Might need help with t-56 install =(...

I guess first off I should reintroduce myself.. (it'll be quick I promise lol) My name is Dan and Ive been around here on njfboa for a while.. I just dont post a lot here. I was also a member of fbody chaos and the other one nj fbody club as well (cant remember the name). Anyway.. Ive never installed a t-56 (came out of a 93/94 Z28) before and into a 3rd gen. Anybody local interested in a helping me?? I live in Passaic County. The old t-5 is out.. I'll have the t-56 flywheel and clutch bolted up..torqued down ect ect. I'd just like someone to be with me to help line up the trans.. you dont have to be there for a whole thing.. just help me get a few bolts started and I'll do the rest..

Dan

thanks for the advice guys.. for those of you using the 93-97 tranny.. did get the trans lined up.. pushed foward till it was "flush" with the motor than pull it back till it was ALMOST off the spline AND then bolt up the shift fork? Im kinda wondering how the hell you're supposed to install this trans.. Im sure I can figure it out.. just gonna take time..

When i did the clutch in my 93 it was a tuff squeze the get the fork bolted back in. If u have small hands u'll have no problem.
