mobile njfboa frame?

Gonna make one soon justin?

For some reason this site is sluggish when I type on the phone, doesn't happen on any other site. But a mobile version would be sweet.

I have no issue with running this site from my Android phone. It's actually faster then most forums I go on.

I mean, the site loads up quite fast, its just typing. Seems like a second or two delay between physically typing and seeing it on the screen. Weird.

Matt, the delay you see in the typing is do to the phone having to reformat the text into the sites code. Having a mobile frame version of the site will do nothing to help that. Its the browser thats built in to the OS of the phone. The droid x howver doesnt seem to have this problem do to the faster processor and Im sure it will see even less of an impact once firmware 2.2 is released and the phone gets flash support. Hope that helps.

At this point we likely won't have a mobile skin available until we upgrade to vB 4.0 this winter.

At the time it was serious....since winter is over in a couple of days, I think this won't happen.

A while back I was considering adding Tapatalk to the forum, but there were some security issues. Looks like they have worked them out, so I am going to read into that a little more tonight and possibly implement that feature.

It comes down to need & time. We really have neither. Everyday the smart phones evolve to the point that there is not much we need to do. And none of us have the time to monkey with it just for fun.
